Launch error

When starting Mailmeteor, you are receiving an error message and the add-on does no launch. How to fix this issue?

Mailmeteor might have issues authenticating your account. Most of the time, it happens when you have multiple accounts logged in Google.

Here are the kind of error messages related to this issue:

  • refused to connect

  • Authorization failed / connection error

  • We're sorry something went wrong

  • Add-on is not showing up in the menu

How to solve this issue?

  1. Reload Mailmeteor. Close the add-on and open it again. Restarting your browser may help.

  2. If that does not help, log out of all accounts except the one you need to send emails from. At the top right corner of the window, click Profile > Sign out.

  3. Still in trouble? Open Mailmeteor in incognito mode (or private browsing) or using a different browser.

If the issue persists, you might need to re-install the add-on:

  1. Uninstall the add-on first. Go to Mailmeteor's G Suite page, click "Uninstall".

  2. Then, install Mailmeteor again from our G Suite page.
