Getting started

Follow these simple steps to send emails with Mailmeteor for Gmail.

Mailmeteor’s Chrome extension lets you send mass personalized emails, schedule follow-ups, and export emails directly from your Gmail account.

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to send your first email campaign with Mailmeteor and give you a quick tour of the app and some of its most important features.

How to get started with Mailmeteor?

1. Install the Mailmeteor extension on Google Chrome.

2. Open Gmail and go to Campaigns.

3. Create a New campaign.

4. To add some recipients, click Select recipients.

5. Import your recipients from Google Sheets, a CSV file, a contact list, or copy and paste their email address. Then press Save.

You can also add Cc or Bcc recipients and specify a different reply-to email address.

6. Write the subject line and the body of your email.

You can personalize your emails to make each recipient feel special thanks to something we call Personalized variables.

7. Configure the Settings of your campaign.

With Mailmeteor, you can schedule your emails for future delivery, add an unsubscribe link to your campaign, improve your deliverability with Autopilot, and track your emails in real-time.

8. Preview your emails before sending.

You can also send yourself a test email to check how your emails will look in your recipient’s inbox.

9. Once you’re ready, press Send.

Mailmeteor lets you send up to 2,000 emails per day. To increase your daily quota and unlock some of our best features, you’ll need to upgrade to one of your paid plans or apply to our education program.

And voilà. You’ve just dispatched your first email campaign using Mailmeteor for Gmail. Well done 🎉
